Diaphone is an accessibility monitoring service operated by UbiquitousBytes. This policy covers information collected through getdiaphone.com and the Diaphone platform at diaphone.dev.

2. Information we collect

When you use the free scanner: we collect the URL you submit for scanning. We do not associate this URL with your identity unless you also provide an email address.

When you request a scan report or sign up for early access: we collect your email address. You provide explicit consent at the point of collection.

Automatically: we collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, referrer, pages visited) and use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Google Analytics data is governed by Google's privacy policy.

3. How we use your information

  • To perform the accessibility scan you requested and deliver your report.
  • To send you product updates and early access information (only with your consent).
  • To improve the Diaphone platform based on aggregate usage patterns.
  • To communicate with you about your account or support requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising targeting.

4. Data retention

Scan results are retained to provide your report and to support your account history if you create one. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf:

  • Google Analytics — aggregate traffic analytics.
  • Email delivery providers — for sending scan reports and product updates.
