1. Acceptance

By using Diaphone — including the free scanner at getdiaphone.com and the monitoring platform at diaphone.dev — you agree to these terms. These terms are between you and UbiquitousBytes. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Diaphone provides automated website accessibility scanning and monitoring. We use automated tooling (axe-core and similar) to detect common WCAG violations in publicly accessible web pages.

Automated scanning does not constitute a full accessibility audit. Our results identify common and frequently cited violations — not every possible accessibility issue. A clean scan result is not a compliance certification or legal guarantee of WCAG conformance.

3. Acceptable use

You may use Diaphone to scan websites you own or have explicit permission to scan. You may not:

  • Use the service to scan websites you do not own or are not authorized to test.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or overload the scanning infrastructure.
  • Use scan results to harass, extort, or threaten website owners.
  • Resell raw API access to the scanning service without prior written agreement.

4. Free tier and early access

The free tier is available to all users. Early access features may be subject to usage limits, and we reserve the right to adjust what is included in the free tier at any time with reasonable notice.

5. Limitation of liability

Diaphone is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. UbiquitousBytes is not liable for any damages arising from your use of or reliance on scan results, compliance reports, or any other output of the service. We do not guarantee that our scanning identifies all accessibility violations or that using our service protects you from legal liability.

6. Intellectual property

Diaphone, its interface, branding, and underlying systems are owned by UbiquitousBytes. Scan reports generated from your website data are yours. We retain the right to use aggregate, anonymized scan data to improve the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will note the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Continued use of Diaphone after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
